Pauline Rich

Tim’s mother Pauline is his biggest champion. Pauline is one of four sisters who all grew up in the Frenchtown neighborhood of Westbrook, Maine. Nearly all of her family worked at the paper mill in Westbrook, which was the biggest paper mill in the world through her childhood.

She nearly died when she was 18 and spent several months in the hospital. This experience gave her an unwavering love for life and her family. She worked for many years at Sebago Mock, one of the originators of the boat shoe, and she spent many more years working as a lunch lady in local school cafeterias.

Her nicknames are Paulini Martini and (dear lord) PotsyPooper. She has a Jack Russell Terrior named Maggie that she nicknamed “The Barking B-!”
